Fish ladder at Jonsered power station temporarily open

The recent weeks of heavy rainfall have led to high flows in the Säveån River. To facilitate the migration of fish, the Partille Energi therefore on January 3rd the fish ladder at Jonsered power station.

At Jonsered power station there is a built fish ladder and a natural water channel past the power station. Normally the fish ladder is open during the period March-November. In consultation with the Sportfiskarna, due to the high flows from January 3rd, we have temporarily opened the fish ladder and will probably have it open for the rest of January.

The opening is a preventive measure to make it easier for migrating fish to get past the power station.
