Partille Energis CEO Mikael Jednell has been elected as a member of one of the eight advisory boards of the Swedish Energy Companies. The assignment gives Partille Energi opportunity to participate in and contribute to the development of the energy system of the future – and at the same time gain valuable knowledge and perspectives that will ultimately benefit both the company and our customers.

Energiföretagen Sverige is the energy industry's interest organization and brings together over 400 member companies within electricity, heating, gas and energy services. The organization works to create good conditions for a sustainable, competitive and secure energy system in Sweden and Europe.
Within the Swedish Energy Companies, there are eight councils that function as meeting places for dialogue, analysis and joint strategic work. Now Mikael Jednell has been elected to the Council for Climate and Energy Policy, Energy Systems and Energy Supply – a council where some of the energy industry's most central and long-term issues are in focus.
The council's work includes monitoring the world and developing strategies linked to energy, environmental, climate and business policy, both in Sweden, within the EU and internationally. It also discusses how the energy system develops over time, how energy supply and energy use change, and how different policy instruments affect the industry.
For Partille Energi The assignment provides an opportunity to contribute local perspectives in a larger context – while the company gains early insight into important issues that shape the future of the energy industry.
Through participation in the Council, Partille Energi participate in and influence the development of a robust and sustainable energy system, but also gain knowledge and experience from other players in the industry. This provides better conditions for long-term decisions and strengthens the company's ability to meet customers' future needs.
The work in the council also includes coordination of EU decision-making processes and collaboration at the Nordic and international levels. Issues that ultimately affect both energy companies and energy customers – also at the local level.
Partille Energi sees the assignment as part of the long-term work for a sustainable energy future – where secure energy supply and customer benefit are at the center.
