On February 13, Partille Arena was filled with play, laughter and movement when this year's Sävehofdag brought together thousands of children, young people and families during the sports break.
During the afternoon, activities, meetings and new experiences awaited both young and old. The arena was buzzing with life as children tried out different elements, met players and took part in the community that the club life creates.
As the evening wore on, the match pulse took over and the audience experienced two fast-paced matches in the Handball League. Sävehof's men defeated Eskilstuna GUIF 31–22 and the women won against Höörs HK H65 34–23 – a truly great evening for everyone in attendance.
The idea is based on something simple but important: that all children should have a fun memory to take back to school after the holidays. A meeting place where community, movement and pride are at the center - regardless of whether you are already part of the club life or trying it out for the first time.
Behind the day is a strong network of sustainability partners who contribute time, commitment and resources. For us at Partille Energi Engagement is about more than just being visible. Community life is an important force in Partille – for community, inclusion and faith in the future. When local actors collaborate, opportunities are created that extend far beyond the walls of the arena.
– Over 2,000 people passed through the doors of the arena during the afternoon and evening. We both believe and hope that all of them will take with them a wonderful sports holiday memory, says Anette Tingets, CSR manager at IK Sävehof.
