What do the parliamentary parties think about district heating?
We sent out three simple questions to our eight parliamentary parties to gauge their views…
In mid-March, we will start a major project to renew the district heating network at Persplatsen. The pipes in the area are getting old and need to be replaced to ensure a stable and secure heat supply in the future. The work is expected to last until the end of November.
During the construction period, we will be digging in several streets, including Persplatsen, Persvägen, Sotenäsvägen, Södra Bäckevägen, Videvägen and Tunvägen. Residents on Hagevägen, Snäckvägen and Lundvägen will also be affected. In order for the heating to function as usual, we will be laying a temporary line while the work is underway.
Those who live or travel in the area may notice limited access, temporary closures and work equipment. Emergency services and garbage collection will be able to proceed as usual.
When the work is complete, the area will have a more modern and more reliable district heating system with new technology that allows any problems to be detected more quickly.
