Installation & measurement

The pressure in the central heating system should be approximately 1 bar. This will distribute the heat evenly throughout the house. The pressure is often lower in the summer and higher in the winter.

  • To fill, open the fill valve.
  • Keep an eye on the pressure gauge while you fill up with water?
  • Close the tap when the pointer reads 1 bar.

If you want an electricity trading agreement with quarter-price billing for your electricity use, ask your electricity trader to send a request to Partille Energi If it is a quarter meter, we will register it. No replacement of the electricity meter is required.

Thermostats should usually be fully open, in the maximum position, but if you want a lower temperature, turn them down.

If it gets too hot with the thermostat at maximum, a lot of heat will escape to the property: You can then lower the heating curve on your district heating system or electric boiler and also save energy.

Yes, all electricity meters in Partille have been replaced from autumn 2023 and during 2024. The new electricity meters meet all requirements in the new regulations, for example the ability to connect equipment to monitor and control your energy use.

The replacements were carried out by Lerum Energi, which handles operation and maintenance of our networks, in collaboration with the contractor OneCo.

This may depend on the setting in the house's district heating system. Adjust the water setting control to regulate the temperature of the water. The most common setting is 2-3.

Agreements & prices

Partille Energis price model for all customers except apartment customers, has consisted of a fixed fee, a transmission fee and an efficiency fee since 2014. We prioritize having low fixed fees compared to many other companies. In combination with the variable parts of the transmission fee and efficiency fee, this gives customers the opportunity to influence their total electricity network cost through conscious use. We will further strengthen this from September 1 by time-splitting the efficiency fee so that it is only charged during the day between 7 am and 21 pm.

In the independent Nils Holgersson survey, Partille Energi recurring among the 10-15% of electricity network companies in Sweden with the lowest electricity network fees.

The repeal of regulation EIFS:2022:1 does not mean a ban on performance fees.

For a period of time, there will be no regulations that specifically regulate how network charges should be designed. What we as electricity network companies have to deal with will be the more general provisions in the Electricity Act, which state that charges should be designed in a reasonable, objective and non-discriminatory manner, and that they should be compatible with efficient use of the electricity network.

On the Energy Market Inspectorate's website you can read more about what applies now.
Questions and answers about power charges

The government has not abolished it, they just want it to be designed differently than in the Energy Market Inspectorate's regulation EIFS 2022:1. It is up to the electricity network companies whether and how we want to apply power charges until new regulations are ready.

Questions and answers about power tariffs

The power charge Partille Energi is currently not time-differentiated. The power charge has the same price all day long and is based on the hour of each month with the highest consumption.

From 1 September 2026, we will update the model so that the power fee is charged between 07:00 and 21:00 (20:59) instead of the entire day. In addition, the fee will be calculated on the average of the three highest hourly consumption during peak hours on different days of the month instead of a single value.

The government announced on Friday, March 13, 2026, that the Energy Market Inspectorate will repeal the regulations EIFS 2022:1 on new electricity network tariffs. The Energy Market Inspectorate was also tasked with developing a new model and reporting on the assignment by April 12, 2027.

Here you can read more about the Energy Market Inspectorate's new mission.

On September 1, 2026, Partille Energi would have introduced new tariffs adapted to the regulations EIFS 2022:1 which are now being repealed. We have stopped that introduction. During the period between the repeal of the regulations and the new regulation being in place, it will be up to the electricity network companies whether they want to apply power charges.

Partille Energi has had an efficiency fee in most of our tariffs since 2014. From September 1, we will make a change in how the efficiency fee is charged.

– The power fee is charged between 07 a.m. and 21 p.m. (20:59 p.m.) every day, all year round instead of around the clock.
– The fee is based on three consumption peaks on different days of the month instead of a single peak.
– The change aims to encourage more efficient and widespread use of the electricity grid.

Own production

Electricity certificates are intended to promote the production of electricity from renewable energy sources such as sun, wind and water. A certain proportion of everything that you as a customer buys in the form of electricity must be electricity from renewable sources. This is called the customer being subject to a quota obligation. The electricity trading company must report this quota to the Swedish Energy Agency.

An example: A producer who has a wind turbine can sell both the electricity produced and the electricity certificates and guarantees of origin on the market. Each electricity trading company must purchase electricity certificates to cover its customers' quota obligations and report this to the Swedish Energy Agency.

No, with the new type of electricity meter that must be installed at the customer's premises by January 1, 2025, the meter does not need to be replaced when installing solar cells. However, the installer must still notify us when the system is complete and we must inspect the installation before it can be put into operation.

It is not permitted to start up a new production facility before we have inspected it and activated the part of the electricity meter that will measure production. As the facility owner, you then risk that production will be registered as consumption because the meter is set to only measure consumption.

For customers with micro-generation facilities, the production we report is reduced by the household's consumption. This is the so-called surplus electricity that is delivered to the grid via the electricity meter.

Since both consumption and production are measured instantaneously, it can sometimes happen that the customer both buys and sells electricity during the same hour. For example, consumption may be higher than production during the first 15 minutes of an hour. During the last 45 minutes of the same hour, production may be high enough to cover both own consumption and still deliver to the grid.
