District heating – a safe and good alternative
With district heating, you have heat and hot water for your house all year round. District heating has a low impact on the environment and climate. It is produced mostly from renewable or recycled energy sources.
With us at Partille Energi You can choose between three different district heating agreements depending on how much you want to pay and how much heat you use per year.
Here you can see what is included in the different agreements and what the current prices are.

What is included in the maintenance guarantee?
The maintenance guarantee includes fixing faults and replacing broken parts. In the event of major faults, we can also replace the entire control panel.
If you choose the Rental contract type, the maintenance guarantee is included in the monthly rent.
Maintenance guarantee 2026
If you have chosen the Own or Own + agreement, you can take out a maintenance guarantee for SEK 180/month after the warranty period on your district heating plant has expired. If you move to a property where the previous owner did not have a maintenance guarantee, you can take it out afterwards. The initial fee is then SEK 2.
It is possible to take out a maintenance guarantee for district heating systems that are 15 years or younger from the time of installation. If you choose to take out a maintenance guarantee after the warranty period has expired, you will pay SEK 180/month from the date the warranty period ended until the date you sign the new maintenance guarantee agreement.
If you move into a villa in Partille that already has district heating, you will need to sign a new agreement of your own.
Notify us at least 30 days before the move. When we have received your notification, we will send you two copies of the agreement. Sign both and return them to us. If there are multiple owners of the property, everyone needs to sign the agreements. The agreement will come into effect as soon as we have received it with your signature. We will then send back one of the agreements with our signature.

We are keen that you as a customer feel secure about how we set district heating prices. We believe that an open and regular dialogue about district heating prices together with our customers is a path to trust and understanding both for us as an energy company and for our pricing.
The goal is district heating prices that both parties feel are reasonable and that are competitive compared to other heating alternatives.
Since 2015, Partille Energi therefore a member of the Price Dialogue for District Heating. It has existed since 2013 and the purpose of the Price Dialogue is to strengthen the position of district heating customers in the heating market and to increase confidence in the pricing of district heating companies. Behind the initiative are Energiföretagen Sverige, Riksbyggen, HSB, Fastighetsägarna and Sveriges Allmännytta. Read more about the Price Dialogue at pricedialogue.se
The pricing process starts with a local dialogue between customers and us as a district heating company at minuted consultation meetings. We then submit minutes and a price change model for review by the Price Dialogue office and a decision on membership in the Price Dialogue board. When deciding on membership for the coming year, the price change model and proposed price change are also approved.
Consultation meetings in the Price Dialogue on district heating prices for the years 2026-2028 were held on June 16 and August 25, 2025. The first consultation meeting in the Price Dialogue for 2027 and beyond is planned for June 3, 2026.
Invited to participate are: Partille Energis corporate customers, representatives of townhouse associations and BRFs, representatives of the local branches of the organizations Fastighetsägarna and Villaägarna, and energy advisors from Lerum Municipality, who are responsible for advising consumers and small businesses also in Partille.
We would like to have increased representation for our private customers with district heating. Those who want to participate in the consultation meetings can be appointed by your neighbors to represent your street, your area or your association. Collect signatures for the properties you represent and send them. You need to be a representative for at least 50 households to be called as a representative.
Contact person for the Price Dialogue at Partille Energi is Marketing Manager Lena Moberg, email: lena.moberg@partilleenergi.se.
To give you a good picture of the Price Dialogue, we present here the documents from recent years that have formed the basis for Partille Energis approved membership in the Price Dialogue. In the minutes you will also find who was invited to the consultation meetings and who the participating representatives were.
The years in the table refer to the year in which the consultations were held.

Approximately 20% comes from renewable fuels such as biofuel and the remaining 10% is produced using natural gas.
The Björndammen boiler plant is the only production facility for district heating in Partille municipality. It is operated by Göteborg Energi and is only used on rare occasions when it is really cold, if there is a fault in the network or at some other production facility.

Has your district heating just been newly installed? Then keep in mind that the basic settings may not be adapted to your property from the start. Ventilate a little extra in the next few months. When you replace the heating system, some of the water in the elements, the radiator systems, is emptied. Then air may have entered, causing the heat to not circulate properly.
New or older facility, this is how you can investigate for yourself.
No heat or hot water?
There is hot water but poor heating in the facility
There is only heat in parts of the house, what do I do?
Try bleeding radiators with a bleeder wrench like this:
There is heating but no hot water.
Please watch our district heating film to see how it's done.
District heating, the most common form of heating in both Partille and the rest of Sweden, is an ingenious form of heating that in principle requires no maintenance from you as a customer. We take care of both the production and delivery of heat and hot water, while you can do other things.
