We feel that district heating does not get the attention it deserves, even though the energy issue is more relevant than ever. Just think of the ongoing electrification and how district heating relieves the load on the electricity system. Without district heating, the Swedish electricity system would collapse and it would also be very cold. That is why we want to gather strength and remind you of an ingenious form of heating.
District heating, the most common form of heating in Partille and the rest of Sweden, does not require any maintenance from you as a customer. We take care of both the production and delivery of heat and hot water, while you can do other things. The Energy Market Inspectorate requires that all electricity network companies in Sweden produce a network development plan that describes today's network and how it will develop over the next ten years. Partille Energi has now published its preliminary network development plan for 2027-2036, and it is open for comments during the public consultation that runs until October 31.
