Can I use a port on the electricity meter to monitor my electricity usage?

The electricity meters that are now in Partille Energi’s network unfortunately do not support the new requirements for customer interfaces that must be met by 1 January 2025. This means that it is not already possible to connect equipment that requires a so-called HAN port or P1 port.
We are currently working together with Lerum Energi, which handles operation and maintenance in our networks, to select the next generation of meters. Replacements of all meters will be planned in 2023 and 2024.

Do I have to sign an electricity contract?

If the electricity is not included in your rent, you will have to sign two contracts: one contract with the electricity network operator (elnätsavtal) and another with the electricity supply company (elhandelsavtal). If you are moving into a residence or facility in Partille, then Partille Energi Nät AB is your electricity network operator. However, you are free to decide which supply company you would like to buy electricity from.

If you don’t make a choice, you will automatically receive electricity from Göteborg Energi Din El AB.

How do I increase the pressure in my district heating substation?

The pressure in the substation should be around 1 bar. Then the heat will be distributed evenly throughout the building. The pressure is often lower in the summertime and higher in winter.

One or more radiators are not heated

If the radiator is colder at top than further down, there might be air trapped inside. In this case, the radiator might also make a noise.

You can release air from the radiators like this:

  • Place a cup or hold a towel under the valve.
  • Open the valve carefully with a valve key until you hear the sound of air hissing out.
  • When water instead of air starts to come out, close the valve. If there is no air in the radiator, you will notice that water is flowing directly from the open valve.
